We are looking for a corporate finance intern!

Jarl Securities is a part of the CatCap group. We have offices in Stockholm, London, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. We are 65 people in the organization working closely together on local and cross border transactions. Jarl Securities is also a member of Globalscope Partners – an M&A network with partners in 50 countries on all continents.

We deliver excellent results for our clients and we are looking to strengthen our team with a top talent interested in a career in Corporate Finance and M&A. This is a paid internship at Jarl Securities. Our M&A team is responsible for advising entrepreneurs and private equity investors during acquisitions and divestments.

This is an opportunity to work in a top performing, international M&A team while gaining valuable exposure to international Investment Banking. The internship will run for approximately four months with potential for an internship renewal or an offer for a full-time position after the four-month period, depending on performance. This position is in Stockholm, Sweden.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team throughout the full M&A process
  • Analyzing financial data in order to contribute to our financial models and valuations
  • Participating in meetings and calls
  • Ad hoc projects including preparing pitch- and management presentations, organizing team events, organizing internal and external meetings


  • Candidate must be a either a recent graduate and/or attending grad school in Stockholm (alternatively have arranged accommodation in Stockholm)
  • Outstanding academic background with/pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Demonstrable interest in working in the financial services industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
  • Self-motivated and highly accountable
  • Team player who is comfortable working with individuals at all levels
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office applications and able to learn new software quickly
